Unlock

The process is easy and safe. It’s needed to do a simple and easy testpoint connection. In order to access the testpoint is needed to remove a ticker. If you do it carefully then you can put it back after the unlock process and your warranty will be not avoid.

This will unlock your SIM*, Bootloader and Fastboot at same time.

PC Companion and OTA updates will still work after unlock. DRM keys will NOT be deleted.

We will need a stable internet connection (dsl or adsl). Also you will need a paperclip or wire for testpoint (Tespoint process is very easy).

This process is software based, so is not by IMEI code and it works with all Sony Ericsson phone, it doesn’t matter which carrier is from.

Different from R800a/i/at (MSM8255) the R800x uses a Snapdragon MSM8655 CPU which is designed for work with CDMA frequencies:

Because of this, the unlock service for R800x  only will unlock bootloader and fastboot. In other works, even after unlocked, the R800x will not work with GSM carriers.
